Despite this, the first day was good opening. The first day was tense, with some minior conflict over space use with the staff- which no where in any pre-con policy was it implied we would be prohibited from any areas! One of the big selling points for us reserving at the resort was the gorgeous backgrounds, and no where in the hotel policy was there any restrictions on photography either. We were attending a convention, but reserved rooms outside of the convention rate as the blocked rooms were sold out. I will never recommend this hotel for any group contracts or personal stay. An understandable concern/excuse- however. I was told there were suddenly no photos allowed in the pool for other guests sake. When denied entry I immediately questioned why when there was no photography restrictions listed in either parties information. For information sake- I was in non-swimwear, and my friend had no makeup, but a Tai Lee (Avatar) bikini. We were suddenly required to have wrist bands- which were not required the first day- and I was denied entry with my camera. But that afternoon- myself and my friend went to the pool with the intention of not even entering the water. ![]() However, on the second day, several issues came up and suddenly new restrictions were popping up- understandable ones in relation to limiting congregating to outside the lobby space and no cosplay makeup or wigs in the pool. ![]()
